Also, in an interview I read somewhere yesterday, Kelly expressed a preference to play a CB.
Somewhere in this thread I expressed my opinion, that at the moment, there is very little between them. One is a better defender the other a better attacker. Both injury prone.

I wouldn't read anything into who plays for England because the selection criteria have never been what they should be. You need to have a decent reputation and play for a big club, you don't have to be playing well or actually be particularly good. Which has suited Johnson for a while.
