Our own 'Green Brigade', who's up for trying to create a new group?

I can't see how any sort of campaign to reclaim the Kop [or any part of the ground] can work without the club joining in and enforcing some sort of fan profiling system that results in the reallocation of tickets so that like-minded fans are all together.

I was forced to sing "glory Man Utd" while sitting (standing) with away fans at upton park. Fucking hooligans the lot of them.
Jumped when Reo Coker scored the winner, nearly got killed. Great times.

I'm struggling to see what that adds to the debate, bar you telling us you saw Utd play at WHU and sang one of their songs? What's that got to do with the (lack of) atmosphere at Anfield?

All our fans are at other matches supporting other teams, obviously.

Basically that Im not a singer like Fabs and the only time I did sing was when I felt threatened by a gang of hooligans. So there.
Oh and fuck off.

Believe me modo i would sing if the glaring eyes of the miserable auld cunts in the centenary weren't glaring at you for so much as praising a player.

spion would testify to my football singing at non football gatherings

Thing is it feels awkward. I just dont do public singing. Love to hear it though.

Attention, those who know Fabio - what song from a musical would he be most likely to sing?

You were threatened by a gang of hooligans and you started singing?? Where did you think you were - in a musical?
Away stand Upton park with my man U supporting friend, surrounded by hooligans. They noticed that I wasn't singing so I quitly sang along.

On what had already been a very trying day out, things go from bad to worse for Modo on the tube journey back home...

A question: Who on SCM is an matchgoer who sings and, [the actual important part of this], do you go with, or know any, young fans who are picking up the traditions and songs and keeping them alive?
I'm 19 and i just shout loudly in tune (well) if i don't know the words to a song (if i'm in the kop anyway)

CHANGE OF PLANS!!!!

We're doing this:

Who's with me?
I'll buy a ticket tomorrow, if we do this.

It is fucking odd now, you used to be ripped if you weren't singing, now you're the it's one out if you are.

It's hard to sing when noone else in the stand is, & not cos you're shy or embarrassed. For those unaware, the sound from the kop is delayed enough to most of the ground that were you to try to sing you'd be out of time. Trying to do that on your own is fucking hard, I've done it repeatedly & it doesn't get any easier.

It's hard physically to sing sitting down too, when the crowd stand for something there's always more chance of a song starting, so I alerts try to start one then.

Last time I went the match I say in the kop for the first time in donkeys, I usually will sit elsewhere so ooters sit there. I was gob smacked how little singing there was, & how reluctant people were to sing. They were two young lads with southern ascents brings me who spent the entire game talking about work, food & bars.

Deffo, and reclaim the Kop from all the wools, OOTers and Irish day tripping cunts. Especially those Irish day tripping cunts.

We should create Welsh sections in the middle of each stand, not only would the atmosphere improve, but the singing would be in tune as well.
