My 2nd team doing me proud. Norwich deserved to win by more today, they were great, and Snodgrass is a fantastic player, and just thoroughly likeable.

Norwich are so fucking naive it's unreal. That Norwich guy who backheeled in midfield needs to be spanked and drowned in piss. You're clinging on for three dear points. What do you do on the break with Spurs? Let's try a backheel with 3 opponents around you.

Then with a minute left, you have a break, and Spurs have defenders back. Again, you're desperate for 3 points. What do you do? Try to dribble towards the box instead of taking it to the flag. I don't like that time-wasting thing, but at least try and make the opponents work harder.

Great job though. Thank you Canaries. Now roll over and die when we visit in April.

Incidentally we are now the EPL top scorers with 70 goals, one more than City. Chelsea have 52 and Spurs 36

Well, a Spurs win would leave utd 8 points adrift of a Europa place.

I guess it dpends on how much you hate spurs. I'm fairly indifferent to them.

Haha I've already discounted Man Utd.
It was all about keeping 4th place from Spurs.
Well.... Now I want LEAGUE TITLE BABY

About time Spurs decided to fuck off, better late than never.

Obviously nowhere near over yet but a 6 point cushion is a bit more like it, they don't even deserve to be that close, the bastards.

The good thing about this result is it may give the manager a little more freedom to go after Chelsea and City at home. assuming we don't drop points galore before then.

Thought Norwich were great, they fought for everything while Spurs were really poor and disjointed again. I hope Norwich stay up, they're a good club.

Soldado is a really bad signing, or he looks it anyway, he looks completely bereft of confidence and he doesn't have the movement and pace to make it as a top prem forward. Morientes Mark II.

Norwich were great. Spurs looked jaded from the Dnipro game so I hope they progress on thursday.

6 points is a healty gap but Soton and Utd coming up away and we play Spurs at home.
Massive games for our fragile defence.

Corrected

Surely we want man utd in the Europa league? It's the best way to keep them out of the top 4.

If City or another Top 4 team win the FAC then I think down to 7th will get into the EL. It might be 6th but anyway I'm betting United get into it either way.

I think so too, he had an excellent game yesterday and really turned the screw on Spurs.

Don't the FA cup runners up go into the Europa league if the winners are top four?
The league Cup place doesn't go to the runners up if the winners are from the top four but instead goes to the team placed sixth in the league I think

Isn't it great how those prick players who saw Spurs as a better bet than us are being proved so wrong. The media wankathon over Spurs and Everton must be coming to an end now surely.

Spurs fans all starting to turn on Tim Sherwood now it seems... Never watched them recently so I don't know how justified it is.

Jan Vertonghen drops Spurs exit hint
February 24, 2014

Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has hinted that he may need to review his future at the club should they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Vertonghen, 26, joined Spurs from Ajax in 2012 in a 9.6 million pound deal, and has his heart set on playing in Europe’s elite club competition next term.

However, Tottenham face an uphill task to qualify following their 1-0 defeat to Norwich on Sunday, with the North London club now six points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool.

“Those are always difficult questions,” the Belgium international told the Evening Standard, when asked about his Tottenham future.

“What I want is to be playing in the Champions League with Tottenham, so I hope we get in this year.

“Do I have a decision to make if we don't? I can't say anything about that.

“Let's see after the end of the season, after the World Cup.”
