I heard constant boos so i thought we just booed us not having the ball
Yeah, that's kinda what I meant. Although I clearly explained it in a ham fisted manner.

I actually took it as a joke in that they were acting displeased we'd actually allowed city to have more than a couple of touches.

This is comedy gold, i'm honestly not sure if this guy is on the wind up, or deadly serious.
So UEFA will deal with Liverpool five days after the final, thus ruling out the only sanction which can have any effect. Many on here want them to have to play behind closed doors, but our coach was attacked before the match on the public highway, outside the ground along a route publicised by the police force which had pointed out that letting off flares and smoke bombs in a public place carries a prison sentence, but the force which failed to arrest anyone for anything. And anyway that seething mass of God-knows-how-many is only a "small minority" of their fans, and the club are European royalty after fans defended their club's honour royally in the final of 1985. Any sane football authority would award the tie to City and save the announcement of a 3 year European ban until May 31.

Manchester City fans start to launch advertising hoardings on to the pitch and in the direction of the police after the final whistle in a dark reminder of the in 1970s.

Wigan put in the doughtiest of defensive performances to pull off the shock of the season against Manchester City and once again breathe life into the FA Cup, though this eventful evening was old-fashioned in an unsavoury sense too, with scenes at the end resembling the dark days of terrace hooliganism from 40 years ago.
There was an old school pitch invasion at the final whistle, which might not have been so bad had the players been allowed to leave the pitch safely. They were not and Sergio Agüero was most conspicuously involved in an unseemly scuffle with fans in which a couple of punches were thrown.

Then the City fans in the stand began throwing objects over the perimeter fence and by the time order was restored on the pitch they were ripping up advertising hoardings and flinging them towards stewards and police.
The opposing managers, Pep Guardiola and Paul Cook, were also involved in a confrontation in the tunnel at half-time,

I would, but they're weird doxxing cunts over there.
Really?

Fuck that then.

Saw something in that thread about a red trying to be nice and everything. Started talking about how he needs to watch himself or they'd find him.

Bit much like

What does doxxing mean?

They're fucking mental judging by that thread.

Ah right, random.

Gimps anyway. Surprised they're that arsed given they never seem to bother with the CL anyway.

We didn't actually start booing them with the ball, we started booing them whenever they won the ball back after the first twenty minutes or so in the first half, almost jokingly because they had hardly seen it for much of it.

Nah we booed them stronger when they were near our goal, notably for corners.

It's funny that Kompany gave a perfectly astute and decent interview about it after the game (as did De Bruyne) about being used to those sort of intimidating incidents, through playing in European Competition and that it didn't effect the players one bit. He didn't shithouse behind it as an excuse, like his slaphead twat of a manager.

Did guadiola cry it in?

Did guadiola cry it in?

Yeah, pretty much. There's no excuse for it, but it's a side issue to the game really. Pep said "we'll have our own welcome for them", which really helps the situation, after all his crying.

Just thinking out loud here, what would be our reaction to our bus getting pelted with stuff? I honestly don't think I'd be that bent out of shape about it and use it as an excuse. It was hit with a few rock by scallys, the Dortmund bus was attacked with roadside bombs last year. Now that's bad.

Do we need a scale to help us decide our levels of rage should it happen to us?

Rocks - Fine
Bombs - Bad

I'd like to think we wouldn't be as cunty.

Problem is, I can't imagine any other team in England doing it.

Probably just would up because they think we're English ultras

In a nutshell ILD. Though if they throw anything at us next week, I'm posting my faux outrage all over Facebook.

Well I would if I was an Evertonian.

I am actually a bit surprised no one has criticised Guardiola for comparing Wednesday night to the Dortmund bus attack

I'd hope that we as fans would pass along our thoughts and prayers to the players.
