So Everton should go all in for him, then?

Silva is only hanging on currently due to the complete absence of viable alternatives at the moment.

They've had their fingers burnt with Fat Sam, and won't want to risk another explosion of Bitter outrage from the terraces, so that makes a Hughes-type appointment unlikely, but while Moyes would be more welcome than someone like Mark Hughes, it would still be a huge retrograde step given their supposed ambition.

And it was needed! Because football would have gone down a bad path if The Cartel and the governing bodies had kept that cartel going like it was because football under it would have rotted.

Liverpool qualified for the CL once in the first seven years of this decade and United have only qualified twice in the last seven years. While clubs like AC Milan have dropped out for a while and the likes of Bayern have felt threatened by us.

They’ve all tried to besmirch our name in the media..."

"Why do Liverpool get so much protection from the broadcasting media and football fraternity?

What's in for them to keep them sweet?

It's not like these media outlets are going to lose money by protecting them. Take The Lying Rag newspaper for example: The dippers haven't bought that newspaper for years now and I don't think it is even distributed in dipper land anymore. I'm not only referring to The Lying Rag newspaper. I include all media outlets and the broadcasting media as well.

So why protect their reputation? What's in it for them (the media). Who gave a flying fu#k about Liverpool 5 - 6 years ago when they were floundering around 8th in the premier league?

I wonder if it's got anything to do with the fact that Liverpool are currently the only team in the premier league to stop Manchester City winning the league again?"
"The dippers should have to have a Var screen installed before they play any more home games or be disciplined. They probably can't trust their scummy fans to behave if a decision was incomprehensibly given against them .Big nose Thompson said as much yesterday if the Dipper goal had been disallowed and a penalty given to city there would have been a riot ffs.officials are pure bottlers"

They think that VAR has also done them over so think that it’s the same for everyone. The thing is, it’s done them over once (Firmino given offside v Villa) this season, yet it does City over in almost every half of football we’ve played so far this season, sometimes multiple times a half.
Even before VAR last season when they scored about five points wining offside goals, scored a winner from a free kick that was a moving ball and got points winning penalties for blatant dives; they thought the refs were against them because of ONE single incident where City scored a third goal in a 1-3 win at Palace from an offside.
Their fanbase is beyond deluded!"
"Dipperpool remind me of the waac (win at all costs) teams/clubs in youth football. You know the ones were the manager screams and shouts all match the parents do the same. The club that's abusive to the ref all match, or change the ref to make sure they win. The team that's has a cheating linesman, and cheating refs........the team that all other clubs report to the league but the league are to scared to do anything to the club. The premier league is turning into a bent youth league !!!"

As far as I'm concerned, if VAR was in place, we could have won at least 2 titles by now (if not 3) and had an unbeaten season to boot.

Both titles went to City. (the 3rd to United)

And in all those seasons, we had shite calls go against us at their place. So it's rich for them to be complaining about corruption. Of all people, the cheek. With their billion dollar, FFP dodging, squad.

I don't give a fuck how many people cry foul play to be honest. Hell, I don't care if fucking Michael Oliver taps one in at the Kop end on the final day, for us to win the league with the last kick. If we win it, we win it and I've already prepared my twitter response to all the crying rivals out there. I already know my action points on confirmation of a 19th league title:

First it will be a simple twitter statement looking to fish, tagging all the usual LFC haters out there:

"I am so glad VAR has finally been brought in and we've had the fairest competition we've ever had in football.

You see, Liverpool fans were right all along. In the first season VAR was brought into CL, Liverpool won the CL. In the first season VAR was brought into the Premier League, Liverpool won the Premier League. Coincidence? I think not. Liverpool were cheated out of 3 titles and finally VAR has confirmed it."

Then I will produce that "fantasy" table from a year ago or two, which stated that Liverpool had the most decisions go against them in the PL that year and lost the most points due to poor officiating.

Then I will repost the video of Gomes getting the ball against a tumbling Carrick, to give United a pen, which helped them comeback against Spurs from 2-0 down, in 2008/2009, when their arses were twitching and we had a chance to go level with them on points (with a superior GD). "If only VAR existed in 2008/9".

Then I will repost the videos of Sterling goal at the Etihad when we should have beaten City under Rodgers. A game I remember for a tremendously biased performance from Greater Manchester referee, Lee Mason."If only VAR existed in 2013/4"

Then I will repost Kompany's red card challenge on Salah from last year, when Mo would have been CLEAN through on goal. Probably add a *wondering* emoji with it with the line. "If only VAR existed in 2018/9"

Perhaps i'll add D.Silva's red card challenge against Leicester last year in their final home game which effectively won them the league. For a bit of added salt and pepper

Then I will wait.

I will wait for the inevitable Blue/Red/White/*Insert every other team's colour here* FUME. I don't know when it will come; but it will come. It will come from far and wide. From places I've never heard of. People I've never met.

And I will welcome it. I will embrace it. I will collate it all.

All that energy, all those tears, all the frustration, all the whining from rival fans.

And i will download it all onto my local C drive in a folder titled "Tears"; mind you, I might have to delete some old porn files to have enough space on my hard drive.

I will then proceed to insert my intravenous USB cable and inject all those Tears into my fucking veins.

Probably best to do it overnight, whilst I sleep.

I will then be *re-energised* for another day of trolling Twitter, Redcafe, Bluefume, Arsenalmania, Shed-end. Bitter-end. Hell, wherever the wind blows, wherever takes my fancy that day.

I will Billy-Big-Bollocks WALK my way onto their forum, with tremendous arrogance and swagger, like we had won the PL title 10 years in a row and give them a friendly, daily, reminder of who are now the Champions of England.

You see that dread, that fear that they are now all feeling "should Liverpool win it". That talk about how "Liverpool fans will never shut up about it" and how "every PL club must prevent Liverpool winning it at all costs". Some even going as far as saying that they might just have to "give up football"?

Well, I want to live up to all those fears they've had over the years. It just wouldn't be fair to them all, if we don't live up to that dread; you know their worst nightmare. It's a spiritual obligation to troll them.

And so, there will be GIFs. GIFs aplenty.

Of Jurgen's grinning nashers and over exuberant celebrations, of the boys celebrating last minute goals, of Pep going nuts on the touchline, of Sterling throwing another sissy fit, of Ole at the wheel, of Fergie in a wheelchair, of Kloppage time, of all the supposed controversial decisions that have went our way, and of course, of us celebrating lifting the PL trophy. Gwan Hendo. Do your thing boi. Dab on those haters.

wry smile

Oh, it will be delicious.

Just another 6 month to go. Over to you boys.
As others have said - a great post sir. I doff my cap.

I just want to draw attention to these points ;

Why do Liverpool get so much protection from the broadcasting media and football fraternity?

What's in for them to keep them sweet?

They can't figure out what's in it for the refs, media, FA, Premier League etc to cheat and fix the league. Should that not be a red flag to them to realise there is no fix. It's like the obvious most salient reasoning is going over their head. They can't figure out why this new cartel is protecting Liverpool. Dear god. Those posters cannot be adults. It's baffling. We've always detested the power Ferguson had over the media, the FA and his fellow managers. We didn't claim conspiracy and vow to give up on football because the playing fields aren't fair. Fergie and United built that power for themselves and we hated that, hated him, their players and any one who sucked up to them. That's normal levels of hate.

This section of city fans are acting as if they are a plucky underdog who are battling against all odds. Have they forgotten they've spent over a billion pounds in recruiting players with money generated from rulers of wealthy countries. Like, they're mental.

I'd love to be in one of these cartel meetings where Scudamore, John Henry, Ferguson, Bobby Charlton, Michael Oliver, Abramovich, and the editors of The Lying Rag sit down and discuss how to screw City, over a glass of whiskey.

I wonder if Carra and GNev get invites too.

If you ever wanted evidence why every single person shouldn’t have internet access just head over to the fume.

This is a beauty.

[article]The referee/officials are in the position to have the greatest effect on the outcome of the game, ahead of goalkeepers. With scores close or level they can change the game with a bent decision such as an offside, penalty or disallowed goal. If you were to believe that certain officials have a required outcome/result in their mind before KO (i.e. a request from a bookie, or the PiGMOL/PL), then they try their best to ensure this outcome without making it look obviously bent.

This is why I believe we see instances where ref's try and keep things even or in their favour, until City go 2 or 3 clear with irrefutable goals, they just stop trying to screw us because they know it would just be too obviously bent. It's also why we tend to see a lot of decisions such penalties and disallowed goals late on in a game (Spurs/Chelsea) because they already have the result they need in the bag.

I've been saying this for a long time; there's millions of people who should not be allowed anywhere near the internet, because they're too stupid to be trusted with the information available, so fundamentally retarded they can't discern facts from obvious disinformation, and then use the various social media platforms to disseminate lies and dangerous half-truths.

They're not going to get any cleverer, and there's always been millions of stupid, mad people, but there's never been anyone listening to them before, and they haven't been given a voice - they just had to stand on street corners with cardboard signs and a broken loudspeaker and meet other lackwits under railway bridges and in half-derelict cafes, well away from the normal, educated, reasonable members of the populace.

Now they're actually among us, but worse, they can talk to millions of other idiot lunatics, and the other lunatics don't censure, shun or mock them; they agree, amplify, share and corroborate all their spastic lunacy, so they metastasize like a big, spastic lunatic cancer.

And here we are. This current year.

This for me is arguably the most Balanced post I have ever seen in this forum.. and is factually correct..

We have been incredibly unlucky with decisions over the years.. It has as you say, arguably cost us titles...

To add to that the The champions League final in Madrid.. VAR would have had Ramos sent off after his challenge on Karius.. (he should have had a yellow card against Salah in my book)

So with that this goes down as post of the year in my book..

My only gripe.. if we fail to win the title. It will come back to haunt you, and you will forever be known as the jinxy forum *insert word here*

They’re still upset we gave them a million for using their scouts login details.

[article]That payment has no legal basis. A serious criminal offence has potentially been committed and if (and if is the key word) it is properly investigated and Liverpool are proved to have hacked City then it is a) a criminal offence for which Liverpool would be prosecuted and b) it has to be in breach of FA conduct rules and they would receive a very severe sanction. McLarens £100m fine for hacking Ferrari has to be the precedent. This is potentially the biggest story in British football for decades but few if any journalists are interested. It’ll be interesting to see how the FA manage to brush something as big as this under the carpet and I suspect City are piling on the pressure to get back at Liverpool. In time this could get very very interesting. I hope it does.

Bluefume fans act like America trying to pretend they are Switzerland. They acting like they are a little old innocent team. Suspicions of cooking the book for fair play and using the money of a nation to win the Premier League doesn't make them the plucky underdog. But their fans really do believe this. I know people like to say rawk is a crazy place, which in honesty it can be sometimes, but bluefume takes it to next level with its conspiracy/paranoid threads that always seem to be near the top of the pile.

The thing is that Liverpool could have argued that it was the individuals who should be to blame and not the club. I think it would have been a bit messy and tricky to make things stick for both sides. The settlement was about right, who the heck did we get out of the scouting, I don't think we got anyone good did we? Not only that we helped them improve their security lol

This is the best post lol
Seem like the jury is still out on Harry Maguire over at Red Cafe:

-I really don’t know how we managed to pay £80 million for him. The reason why he is our captain is because we spent so much on him.

-R
ight now he doesn't deserve his place over Tuanzebe imo

-People are giving Lindelof a lot of shit this season but for me Maguire has had been more obviously suspect than Lindelof has. Obviously never going to be dropped given the financial outlay on him though

-Nobody expected Maguire to look like an £80m player because he simply isn't one. There are very few defenders on the planet worth that amount of money and Harry Maguire is certainly not one of them. But so far, he's not even looking like a 40m defender to me.

-Has put on some really shite performances this season, but gets away with it because he's a nice guy and a new signing. 80m worth of average. Leicester are laughing their arses off.

-[bcolor=#fafafa]He's a solid, upper-midtable PL player who you'd be happy to have as a squad player in a top team if he came through your academy or if you could get him for a good price. Instead, he's one of the most expensive transfers in the history of the sport playing for one of the highest-profile clubs in the world, and he's never, ever going to live up to that billing[/bcolor]
[bcolor=#fafafa][bcolor=#fafafa][bcolor=#fafafa][bcolor=#fafafa] It's Lukaku all over again.[/bcolor][/bcolor][/bcolor][/bcolor]

-[bcolor=#fafafa]So have we improved defensively with the £130 million signings? Have we feck. I'm fuming at this the most, we could have strengthened the midfield instead.[/bcolor]

[bcolor=#fafafa]-What a scam Leicester ran on us[/bcolor]

[bcolor=#fafafa]-It bothers me that’s he’s been handing the captaincy when he’s barely been at the club a few months and he’s been shit for most of it.[/bcolor]

-Wasn't a fan of his signing in the summer, he's as mobile as an oil tanker and his passing is actually trash. Leicester sure saw us coming alright.
If it was up to me, i would never have signed the overpriced swell head.

-
Maguire is a decent CB nothing more. Never an £80m player.
As for Wan Bissaka......he gets a nose bleed when he gets the ball. He can defend but for £50m you need more than that.

-I think he is a decent CB but Leicester robbed us.

In Austria there is a law that in case you buy something and later it turns out that you paid more than double the worth of what the object of the purchase is really worth you can ask for reversing the deal.

Wait. Maguire is United captain already? Says it all about that team. Compare that to us where VVD is like third captain behind Henderson and Milner lol

A lot was said when they bought him about his being a "leader on the pitch". It sounded like wishful thinking to me even then, and that's doubly true now.

Shame innit. :vamp:

so we should be charging them for exposing security flaws? That’d be popular on blue moon where they think we waterboarded someone to get access to their systems.

Nowhere else to put this so :

Ahead of City’s sixth Champions League group stage meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk in three years, Pep Guardiola confirmed that Aguero will be missing for at least “a few weeks” with a thigh problem picked up in the win over Chelsea. He will also need “a miracle” if he is going to play in the forthcoming Manchester derby at the Etihad on 7 December.

I want to complain to Trading Standards about that "High Quality" line. The song is utter shite

Miserable bugger

(crosses Tombrown off Christmas Card list(enters Tombrown onto killl at Christmas list))

Avoid any store in December there is no quality left 🙁
