It's a shame if we'd be looking for favours from Soton and Stoke.

The maths is simple. Beat West Ham and Boro and we're in. If we can't manage that, we don't deserve to be in.

Normally I'd agree with you 100%.
But we've had such a run with injuries this year, that I just don't give a fuck how we get top 4. Let's get in there, upgrade the squad and move on from there.
I just feel it's such a key time for our club and CL will mean better players most likely, so let's take it however we get it.

Oh yeah, its well past the point of caring how we get it , its simply a must.

How many matches was that? 25? and still in 5th after that ... that is some undertaking that.
Longest unbeaten runs within a top-flight season:

Season | Team | Games unbeaten

2003/04 | Arsenal | 38
1920/21 | Burnley | 30
2004/05 | Chelsea | 29
1987/88 | Liverpool | 29
1973/74 | Leeds Utd | 29
1968/69 | Leeds Utd 28
1977/78 | Nott'm Forest | 26
2016/17 | Man Utd | 25

Utd have not only failed to win, but actually failed to score away to Chelsea, City, Arsenal and us, with Spurs up next.

Good work Maureen, you tactical genius.

I agree. A draw or loss to either Soton or Stoke would be great. Hope to God that those two teams turn up.
