Exciting game. Interesting to see how they greet Torres. They've got a useless defence, hopefully OUR golden boy will exploit that.

Definitely. Could you imagine the stick we'd get if we lost the UEFA Cup final to Fulham? (No disrespect to them, I just mean in terms of history, stature etc, Hodgson has done a stella job)

Yeah very true, his ability to conjure up a goal from nothing is a big worry.

Atletico will be without striker Sergio Aguero for the first leg against Liverpool after the striker picked up a pointless yellow card for time wasting as he was substituted in the 94th minute.

Cheers Dee. I think form and whatever probably goes out the window anyway, thanks to unfamiliarity and the fact we've both got some very good attackers, anything can happen. Let's just hope we're better than they are defensively and we take our chances.

We won the European Cup against Roma on their own cabbage patch. It'd be sweet to win another trophy at our opponents' place.

But you're right, we have to get past Atletico first. At our best I'm sure we're the better side, but they'll be a tough nut to crack all right.
