Hmmmmmmm.....

Just heard Fowler filling in is a REAL possibility.

would love it but I think Brendan would not risk the piss taking of getting an old loanie in

he is a new man who loves developing youth

fingers crossed though as I can buy the new shirt for my nipper with the name on again as Robbie and I share a surname

I wish fowler were in the shape as teddy Sheringham, I reckon he could do a job, if he weren't an Manc twat, of course.

Would fucking love that. He can be overweight and pissed and still score goals.
Not even Jesus had a 3rd coming!

Regardless he should be brought in as a coach for our strikers if not playing a bit.

Some oz could confirm on Robbie's fitness as I heard that he was really unfit whilst playing there

matt le tissier was never fit and he did ok, a half fit poacher from the bench will do me

fowlerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hahaha, it was tongue in cheek of course, but he's in better shape than fowler despite being almost 50!

Besides, if I fall apart I'll do it 'Falling Down' style!

You'd have to actually leave your Hyperphonic AV system to do that.

Could you, Jon Fox ?

Could you do that ?

We won't be signing Fowler, and nor should we.

I would probably just about maintain that bringing him back last time was worth it. He scored a few goals and obviously it was great to see him back for that short time.

However, he was clearly very much past his best even then. Imagine what he is like now!

Just think to fit into BR tactics, we would need players with high levels of fitness to chase and close down opposition when not in possesion.

No harm though in having him around Melwood working with Morgan et al. That's what we should be doing.

Could he actually teach them anything though?

I'd always thought that what he had fell squarely into the "you just can't teach that" category

I don't know. Rushie certainly helped HIM improve. And he seemed to do well on the American tour.
