Not the best start in the world but we now have 4 very winable home games. We have the opportunity to play into some form in these 4.

I hope we really fucking go after Norwich. Im not in favour of giving up on the manager until the second the owners get rid. I will support and want us to win every single game.
If we have any sense we will be sounding out Klopp and Carlo but in the mean time lets get 4 wins on the bounce.

I like this set up as a diamond. I'd also like to see Ings included at some point, he's at least looked arsed.

I like Ings. I know many didn't / don't. He gives 100%, he has no little skill, tons of energy/determination and he knows where the goal is, he's also our only goal poacher so in games where we dominate (ha !) he would be a good player to have in and around the box.

I dont have any problem with Ings. I dont really have a problem with any of our signings this summer. Firmino looks a shadow of himself at the minute but hes played a handful of games in a much tougher league than Germany and it may take some time to see the best of him.
My big concern is that we dont give these players time to become greats for us. Markovich is probably the best example, played a few games and looked decent but wasnt given a run and then got shipped off. I hope we eventually persist with some of these players. Its one of the things that Fergie did amazingly well at Old Trafford, players stayed for YEARS in the main part and eventually became relevant.

Norwich ahead of us on goal difference. Surprisingly they've scored 8, we've only scored 3 after 5 matches. Its not obv who's more ambitious 🙂

Exactly, and if you were to make a list of all the qualities you'd want in his strike partner...... You'd be practically describing Benteke

Ings also looks like the striker in our squad who can press the most effectively, so I'm a little surprised he hasn't been starting. Actually, I'm not all that surprised because I haven't been able to understand Rodgers' rationale for a lot of stuff for a long time.
