My hope is that he stays put this season, we get into the champions league (at the very least) and then we become one o the realistic destinations for him next summer.
When you think about his marketability I see no reason why J.Henry wouldn't be interested in him, even at 50 mil.
We paid 35 for Carroll after all.

One can hope though. We've brought in 5 possible/probable first teamers since January for what, close to 100m? IF they gel and things go well for us next season, who's to say the board won't sanction one massive marquee signing next summer?
