Anyone know the history of that crest? Is it the reincarnation of an old one, or a new one that is aimed to 'throwback' to our history?

Fantastic quiff, both including the same link. Appreciate the response, I should have done my research but it didn't ring any bells to me at all.. Interesting. Not sure i like the shirt but I like the idea of a commemorative badge.

It looks a bit like the shirt worn in the sixties...
Eh, alledgedly

I really like the simplicity of it and I think it will look boss on the pitch too. A classy all-red with added nostalgia.

We will look about ready to actually start winning the league again in this one..

* And for the first time in a while I think I'll be shopping footie shirts..

So do i... That's hardly an 'old style' shirt!

Its a crass attempt at capturing the past / a cash grab

It is exactly an 'old style' shirt, given it appears to be a replica of a couple of old kits.

I wonder if they'll take same approach to the other shits... maybe a classic yellow and red away, and a white with red trim third shirt... although marketing suggests the kids want neon!

My kids would probably think neon shits were awesome, I am just not sure we should go there, sounds unhealthy really.

I've seen more of those toxic avengers 3rd shirts than I have of the home shirts this year cos so many kids have them.

Incidentally, they allowed all the kids to wear footy shirts to school in Luke's school for a sponsorship for Charlie's Chance, almost every kid, including Luke, had a Barca kit on, I saw a few various international kits, about fifteen Liverpool kits, but just one home kit (mostly toxic & the away kit) & just two kids in Everton kits.

"The peoples club" my arse. You'd see more kids in blue in a Welsh school.
