This is true. Almost all 'black' clothing is usually an extremely dark blue, (occasionally dark brown) in reality, I remember being amazed when our technician showed me that when I started working on the clothing side of the business having previously done shoes.

Something to do with the expense of true black dyes & making them colourfast being more difficult if memory serves me correctly.

We sat & watched about three hours back to back of Father Ted Christmas night. My sides actually started hurting I was laughing so much. Love that show.

Every single time anything is mentioned about something being small, or far away, or anything even remotely to do with perspective Bex & I both do the sketch from the caravan with the cows. The kids even join in now cos they've heard it so often.

It's great. There's another layer of comedy to it that people like my dad get. The way Mrs Doyle behaves etc is like how some people in the Irish countryside get on. My dad's cousins took the hump once because they were visiting and didn't get a cup of tea. My mum offered them tea and they said no but apparently my mum should have done the whole routine and insisted they take one.
