Aspas cost £7.5million while Alberto cost £6.8million. I think anything between £7 to 10 million (with/without add ons) will be a fair price for someone, considering:

- cost Basle €2.5million from Arab Contractors (and since P79 20 goals 17 assists in all compeitions over the past 2 seasons)
- only 21 years old (27 caps 17 goals 10 assists)
- CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year winner for 2012 (previous winners include Asamoah, Kalou and Mikel)
- Swiss Golden Player for 2012/13 (previous winner: Xherdan Shaqiri)
- already experienced 2 seasons of European club competition (CL + Europa League) - P26 7 goals 6 assists including against the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Zenit, Schalke and Sporting
 
He seems like he's worth a punt at 7m.

If we only buy players of this ilk in January I'll be disappointed though as with a couple of quality additions we could genuinely challenge this year & it'd be sad to waste that chance.
 
Think we'll only sign players that can go straight into the first team in January, just as we did last year.
Maybe we'll get confirmation of the invietable Will Hughes transfer.

He's hopefully good enough to, I ment in terms of quality. No squad players - potential first team starters. Sterling has got that right hand side now but he's young.

Salah and M'Vila would be ace.

Aye. We have enough potential sitting on the bench and flourishing in the reserves for the time being.

M'vila would be a good pick up ... a perfect FSG signing.
 
I like players who will run at people and show a bit of directness on their play. That's what we've missed in our squad for a long time

He's not going to tell the media what's going on is. It just causes a feeding frenzy. Do the business behind close doors, then tell the press.
