Clive Tyldesley switched from being a Man Utd fan to a Barca fan after about 60 minutes of the final last year, and is well and truly still there.

He used to be ace on Radio City.
I met him once before a Liverpool European match (Juve I think, and *that* goal). I was in that big hotel in the financial district that appears to be the new favourite for opposition teams to stay in, name escapes me (possibly a top-range Radisson?).
Anyway, I was in the lift and on exiting, Clive was there waiting and shook my hand and gave me some "lovely to meet you" spiel.
I was totally bemused and said "er, great Clive. Cheers" at which some flunky said that I "wasn't him".
So for one nano-second I was well pleased, I looked like a footballer, or dignitary or whatever. Then someone pointed out that it was more likely that Clive had mistaken me for some pikey competition winner, which was rather depressing, given that Tyldsley had identified me as the person who wouldn't normally be in a nice hotel, unless I'd fucking won a competition to be there.
So now I hate him.
