And if I'm not mistaken the left back Spidey is talking about is Cissokho, who also came from Porto for big money.

They paid for both largely out of the Benzema money. I.e. (note to Rafa) it's possible to sell one of your best players and use the money to actually improve the team

Yeah I remember that they could tell by the shape of his teeth he was prone to certain injuries and left the deal because of it or something to that effect.

Still doesn't beat Rafa's 4 defensive midfielders away against Portmouth and Stoke.

Not to mention the big difference between trying to defend away to Bayern Munich and trying to do *whatever Rafa was thinking* away to the bottom side Pompey.
