Don't know an awful lot about this guy to be honest. Seen him play couple times and he seems tidy...is he box to box?

What kind of body shape does he have, CP30 (Hamman), R2D2 (Mascherano), Metal Mickey (Molby) or Big Trak (Spearing)?

That's pretty much how I feel about it. Until I've seen him play, I'm going to assume that he's the answer to all of our prayers.

Well he isnt anything special but its not like we are going to go and spend 20mil or so on a defensive midfielder like diarra or cambiasso etc. So for around 10mil Meireles or Khedira would be great.

Also the defence is that dodgy, Skrtel and Carra alternate and Agger is a good player. As for johnson and figueroa they can help attack. Not that defensive but ahhwell

Raul Meireles? He usually plays well but he's not that young anymore (28 I think) and his physique might be a concern.

Spain's Javi Martinez is another one and we've been linked with him last summer, I haven't seen him play but some site members used to rave about him.

exciting news, let's hope he's as motherfuckingly excellent as the last iberian midfielder we signed for £10.7m.

it does make the poulsen signing a bit more mystifying, though, unless of course the rumours of lucas fucking off are true, which would be quite blissfully awesome.

I'm not really disagreeing with your team. Just remarking that on paper it doesn't look great - we could do with better out wide and arguably in midfield as well.

This is the thing with footy everyone one was tearing their tits off before I went out for a pint, and now we magiced a decent player out of the hat
Sort a striker , get shut of Lucas and bring in the Pit Bull and we are in a much better position,

The lad isnt the greatest player in the world or owt, but its night and day starting the season with Lucas and Poulsen or Him in the side.
i really hope this is kosher.
