Maybe people see him as part of the Benitez era. I wouldn't bother playing him on the wing unless we were winning and needed to conserve a lead because he's just not quick enough to dribble past a fullback, nor accurate enough in his delivery...he's got superb movement and anticipation in the box and would do the 'donkey' work which Torres would appreciate, so I would play him as a (reserve) striker, same goes to Babel aswell.

No shit... i think the guy is amazing.

He is so composed in the centre of the park and one of those players that always wants to be on the ball. He is very creative but he also has that edge.

He was good in the world cup for Portugal. I have not seen or heard of him.

I woke up to this beautiful news 🙂

He was the only player I thought was any good for Portugal in the World Cup.

Looked like the only player who actually put in any effort too.

Gets into the box alot, no problems physically or technically - lets just hope he can now develop into a Liverpool-class player here.

This is the first signing this since Rafa's departure which has actually made me smile!
