How many times has this happend to us again and again

ie, we want to sell Crouch immediately! Every rag + ceefax values him at between 5-8m.

We want to buy a 9-10m player almost every one of them values him at 15-18. No one seems to be outraged at this. and it's been going on for years. It doesnt seem to happen to other clubs nearly as much as us.

What the betting. The Bastards try it again every sale and purchase this summer.

Anyway, your point...it will always be thus. We are a big rich club (one of the top 4) and the players we are linked with...Barry, Johnson etc play for middle ranking teams...Portsmouth and Villa etc...

They are bound to want to keep hold of their better players and so the price goes up.

Our cast-offs are proven to be not up to it...Diouf, Diao, Smicer and so they attract smaller clubs with smaller budgets.

It is not rocket science mate.

If we sell Alonso to Madrid, it will be for 22M plus...
