Half-time.

Decent performances from Agger and Henderson.

Adam and Spearing really poor.

Kuyt and Carroll largely anonymous.

Downing's been in and out. Looked lively in the beginning, faded away for a large part, but a nice cross for the goal.

Glenjo getting raped more than once.
I think Carroll has been ok but got no service and i would put Kuyt in the really poor category.

HALF TIME
2-1

Sterling hattrick in the second half.
Raheem to set at least two of them up....

HT ratings:

Reina 6 - let down by the defence

Carra 6 - at fault for the first goal?
Agger 6 - tbf both our central defenders aren't being helped by neither the midfield nor the fullbacks
Johnson 4 - raped time and time again
Robinson 5 - Hasn't impressed

Spearing 6 - Done his part, but isn't being helped by Adam
Adam 5 - Isn't taking the responsibility he should be taking.
Hendo 6 - Started well, but his performance gradually declined
Kuyt 6 - expecting more
Downing 7 - done well
Carroll 7 - nicely taken goal, did his part.

It seems fashionable these days in match threads to see who can slag our players off best. Adam doesn't have the best 45 minutes therefore he's completely shite etc etc.

Nobody said that did they???? Just that he's been shit this half, I'd love to see either raheem or sterling come on but I doubt either one will

Carra 6 - at fault for the first goal?
Nope Spearing turned off after the goalscorer passed it to the winger.

But shouldn't Carra have been there to clear it?
Anyway I put a question mark there so, I guess it could have been either Spearing or Glenjo.

GlenJo was DEFINITELY at fault, the other half of responsibility is split between Carra and Spearing

Johnson is a joke
He always has been. Can't defend for toffee.

Do we have to refer to players being 'raped'?
Was going to say the same. It has become standard parlance. It is offensive.

That term is thrown around without much thought these days.

Heh. Better defending by him to be fair in the last 5 mins.

Adam with some stupidly selfish play also.

I've used it to describe a defender being shite since schooldays. "Having the arse ripped out of him" is equally as common.

Fucks sake fella, do you bitch about it being offensive when you're playing Sunday League down the field?
