Maybe it's just me, so. I'm finding it seriously depressing, more so than any of the 0-0 games last season. Perhaps it's the attitude of some of the players too.
Reina losing the head, Torres putting on his bitchface too often.

The frustrating thing is we would probably have strolled this if we'd got the first goal, and we knew that all too well. The only thing one can hope is that this is the biggest wake-up call imaginable. So maybe something constructive will come from it, but it's an unbearable performance made even worse by the knowledge that O'Neill will get yet another undeserved feather in his cap and we'll have a week of hell to endure now. I wish I could live in a damn cave.

I hope this is what it takes for Rafa to see that Lucas is not up to playing for this club. I know that this is very unlikely considering his blind spots for certain players but Lucas was really abysmal tonight.

Amazing? Are you joking? They were very ordinary - a side low on confidence, given sudden belief by our shit play and a couple of slightly flukey goals who then defended for their lives through the second half.
Utterly, utterly depressing. Not because Voronin, Babel, Lucas et al are simply not good enough. And not even because our best players - Torres, Gerrard, Yossi et al - all played poorly. But because, as a team, we didn't look like we really wanted to win. I missed the first 20 mins, so perhaps we were at their throats then? I dunno. But the 70 mins I did see, we were sloppy, weak, slow and half-arsed.
