No wonder our passing has dramatically improved with Thiago and later Shaq and Firmino coming on. A lot more interplay and less aimless crossing.

Coo, what a surprise. Dry your eyes, believers to doubters. This thread has had a mare. Put it in the vault under the category 'embarrassing'. After a CL win, a super cup win, a world club win, a premier league win, two incredible seasons, and the first dodgy period during an injury crisis and you can smell the naked fear. Incredible. Absolutely incredible.

You should see me at a match, mate!

well played villa kids you did your selves proud. You can only play the eleven lads in-front of you but we did show our experience and showed who was boss great warm up to the scum game.

Comfortable win in the end...MOTM...Milner did well..but can't overlook Neco....fine display. Is he putting pressure on TAA...not just yet but he's coming along nicely.
Nice cameo by Shaq as well.

Calmer n' you are.

Isn't hindsight lovely. Now that i think back we were imperious in the first half and i should never have doubted that we would gloriously beat an under 23 team 4-1. We're only the reigning premier league champions and had to bring most of the first team on to achieve this but that doesn't alter this crowning achievement.
Either that or we were shite in the first half and took the game far too casually and only got on top when they inevitably tired in the second half.

Shite wasteful first half after shite wasteful 3 games, and we're not allowed to criticise
