So pleased. So smug right now. Tremendous performance. Scoreline flattered them.

Really impressed that, after they scored their first, we didn't collapse and let them back into the game

I enjoyed it. Well, I didn't enjoy the second half until skittil's goal.

If anyone can get links to MOTD or the post match guff would you post it please... I've got Vietnamese shampoo adverts on and the footy has gone for good...

It would be greatly appreciated...

Two questions

Hope the fuck have we ended up with Klopp? Not sure how we managed it but I am so happy he's here

Secondly. Has city ever had a team? They have a phenomenal squad but are they ever a team?

Brilliant. Some glorious passing moves in that game - fast, smart and really inspired. Everyone did well.

Thoughts:

Love how the team came on and dictated play. There was no concern for what Pellegrini was going to do - just set up to play our game.
Klopp's team selection looked even better when I saw Fernando & YaYa in the middle ... Those two just aren't good enough to control the middle when you pressurize them constantly.

The players ...
Mign - part of the fault for the goal - just clear it. Stop being fancy, you're shit at that. Good save on Aguero's chance that Milner created.
Clyne - I think more and more teams will hope he touches the ball for us in the final 1/3 ... He's really struggling there the last two months, but defensively - bar one misjudgement - he was as usual, excellent.
Skittles - great great goal - wow. However, his clearance that led to Aguero's goal was poor. Overall though, very good performance.
Lovren - Seems to be a decent CB!
Moreno - not much attacking today - but was very solid defensively.
Lucas - smart yellow, and overall, a very solid performance. Controlled the middle.
Milner - I am starting to worry about him ... He falls down constantly, very slow decision making and I just cannot see him being a starting player for more than this year.
Can - He's making small improvements every game. It will take time for him, but there's a really really top class player in there.
Lallana - Good performance here - smart passing, and good work rate.
Coutinho - 3 straight goals with a game and was dominant in the first half. great passing, good finish and just fantastic chemistry with Firmino.
Firmino - MotM ... What a pass for Coutinho's goal. Great vision, great passing but really should have had a hattrick!

City - Joe Hart - excellent and I hope Sterling looks miserable every single game. the fucking cunt.

And city fans singing about steven gerrard? Really? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The swagger is coming back. Back heels, overhead passes, neat interchanging passing 🙂

If we had a good keeper....

I gave Firmino man of the match because he took the piss but I would single out Lallana who was tireless and brilliant and involved in everything, he worked his balls off to give the little Brazilians the time to whip their cocks out and he still got involved in attacks.
I thought he was phenomenal today.

Btw poor taste there from Firmino doing a shooting celebration, you know considering...

The passing and movement in final third was sexy as fuck. Seriously impressive given the limited time Klopp has been here.

We had less players on international duty and it showed. We were fitter, more cohesive and instinctive in our passing.

The pressing in the first half was brilliant.

There was something Dortmundesque in that performance.

Fuck you Sterling.

Firmino, Lallana & Coutinho when they're in that final third look exceptional together.
Lallana and Coutinho pretty much stayed away from each other in the game, from what I remember. And that's good, cause I still believe that they don't work well together.
Lallana wasn't directly involved in any of the goals. Except maybe the corner at the end.

Mig... Two mistakes but one blinding save

Skrtel was motm for me...

Firmino Lallana and coutinho were pretty boss up front.

Could have doubled our tally if it wasn't for Hart who was excellent.

The rattle of Skrtels goal in the clip above is hypnotic.

Made up with that... Just brilliant stuff.
