Third? He's the third best player in the world. As you've said yourself, the top two are miles ahead of everyone else. But likewise, Suarez is clearly the next best after those two. Not sure why you have it in for him so much.
And he's played 4 months less than both of them.

Funny how last season Ross banged on about number of goals wasn't the key factor in deciding how important a player was to the team and that Studge was a more valuable player.
Roll on 12 months and he reckons Neymer is better than Suarez because he's scored more goals, even though he has less assists, doesn't work as hard for the team and had 4 months more game time.

Wasn't it some guy on here banging on how little we needed Suarez when Sturridge scored in the Three first games last season? And then using every kind of statistics to show he didn't score matchwinning goals? Whoever it was have been proved quite wrong I suppose......

Suarez has benefited from the fact that they're not as rigidly tiki-taka as they used to be which made it very hard for newcomers to adapt and shine. Plus he's getting to play as a #9 and lead the line which is best for all concerned really.

One thing is that we lack the skilled player Suarez, that runs causes nightmares for defenders the Whole week before we meet them. But equally impoortant is that we lack the winning mentality, the Suarez that had a dig at Sterling and others when they played a poor pass or took a wrong shot. The inspirator that kept the others at the toea throughout the game. We lack that today. We seem to not give a shit if crosses goes behind or passes are too long. People just puts thumbs up and appreciate that they tried.
