Some idiots will probably say that he never was a regular starter. I don't think he has been benched more than two three weeks in a row when he been fit. Some idiots will totally "forget" his many long term injuries.

So he has been playing in the big majority of the games when fit.

The player that made the most tackles in the PL the last decade, almost never given away a pen or getting a red card. That is a fantastic record considering that he has been injured a lot and the PL is considered as the most physical league in the world.

Weak? You are indeed having a laugh. A big laugh.

Hahahahahahahaha....

Yes! Yes! God please let this finally FINALLY happen!
I'm not falling for this, I've convinced myself that Lucas will be with us for many more years and break Stanley Matthews record of playing until he's 51. It's taken a lot of therapy but I've now come to terms with this. *weeps*

I say that, and try and stay impassive. But it's almost impossible. Even that media report from Yoda has caused palpitations.

I could make a Palpatine Star Wars joke here, but this is srs bizniss

I'm a Lucas fan and he's always been a decent guy to have around but I find Arn's obsession to support him a bit mad like. Imagine putting an Arn like level of effort into supporting a player like Lucas? At the end of the day who is Lucas? A decent pro, a nice guy, a player who performed excellently before an injury took its toll. That's about it. As I've said before the Lucas obsession must stems from a similar obsession with Rafa. I'll be sad to see Lucas go for 2.5 million. I'd nearly keep him as back up and to help new south american recruits adapt and settle in. I presume he wants to go though.

Arn's madder than a March hare, but his obsession with Lucas is not much worse than many of the posters on SQUAWK used to be

Galatasaray manager Jan Olde Riekerink has urged the club to push through the transfer of Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva according the AMK.
Per the source, Riekerink sent a report to the board underlining his position on the transfer efforts and gave the transfer committee his full backing in pursuing the Brazilian midfielder.

Galatasaray are reported to have offered Lucas a deal worth €2.5 million per-season and Liverpool are understood to have given the midfielder the green light to leave.
Lucas is currently out injured for a month after picking up a hamstring strain but that has not put Galatasaray off trying to sign the 29-year-old.

The experienced midfielder would end a nine-year spell at the club if he were to part ways over the summer. Lucas has been closely linked with a move to Turkey in the past and almost joined Besiktas on loan last season until Brendan Rodgers blocked the move.

Not allowing hate isn't the same as obsession you know. Rafa is one of our all time great managers and he love the club and the city.

All time Great Managers. ?

Are you smoking Crack ???

He put the club amongst Europe finest, and helped rebuild its identity in Europe.. But his failure to win the league title and the catastrophic collapse of the club towards the end of his reign means he will probably never be judged in the same class of the likes of Shankley and Paisley

Ranking of Managers LFC..

Shankly
Paisley
Fagan
Dalglish (1st Era)
Rafa
Houllier

Tom Watson should arguably get a mention in there somewhere tbh.. probably above Rafa.. After all he lead Liverpool to their first League titles..

If he's 5th on the list, it's probably fair enough as a description. "One of......"

Admittedly, after Houllier there's a big fucking drop off.

He retired in 1915, after 19 seasons in charge, still a club record. His record of leading the club in the most matches was only broken by Bill Shankly.

You do know that it wasn't his fault that the club collapsed but feel free to believe your weird and very wrong fantasies. Instead it was because of Rafa that the club still exist. If he hadn't put the CL before the PL then we wouldn't got the money needed to survive as a club.

Without his hard work and leaks we would have done a Leeds or may not exist at all. Without his leaks we the fans wouldn't have mailbombed the banks to stop them giving out loans to Gillett and Hicks.

He had to sell before he could buy and the last couple of years he had to make a profit in the transfer market.

Idiots like you are to lazy to find out the facts so you just moan instead. That is why you will always be a lazy idiot.

Oh dear x 1 billion

I am not only looking at what they have won. I look at the whole picture. How many big rivals he had in the league, the state of the club, how good the squad was when he took charge and so on.

Oh FFS, who started him off on this shit again? Another thread ruined by his fucking obsessive Lucas and Rafa cock sucking.

Seriously, someone poor this poor headwand out of his fucking misery.

When Rafa took charge we probably wasn't even in the top 20 in Europe. We had an average squad and no working youth system. He took us to number one in Europe and built up our youth system.

That without spending any big money, net.

Hansern: I wish I could share your confidence that selling the poor guy will put an end to these lunatic threads.
