A site called Givemesport is saying he's "impressed with the project" we've outlined to him, and have pulled ahead of the Mancs in the race as a result.
No no no. He hasn't gone there yet.
Probably until he visits the mancs and they offer him 200 grand a week, and the project gets fucked out the window.
Liverpool transfer target Memphis Depay has denied reports he has held talks with Manchester United over a summer switch.
But the PSV Eindhoven star has opened the door to a move away from Holland, stating his desire to join one of Europe’s “big competitions” next season.
Depay is one of the hottest prospects around at present, having smashed 26 goals as PSV romped to the Eredivisie title.
Liverpool are interested in signing the 21-year-old, who can play across the forward line. But with United also in the hunt, Anfield officials fear he will end up at Old Trafford, where he would link up with Louis Van Gaal, his former coach with the national team.
Speaking after his side’s 3-2 win at Excelsior Rotterdam on Saturday, however, Depay denied reports that he had already met with United to discuss a move.
“There’s absolutely no truth in that,” he said. “I haven’t spoken to Manchester United.”

Asked if he expected to speak with any other clubs in the coming weeks, Depay said: “On that question, I am not going to comment. We shall see how things will go.
“It would be great to go to one of the big competitions this summer, but for now I don’t want to speak about that. These are my honest answers to you media guys.”
Depay is rated at around the £20m mark, having produced comfortably his most consistent campaign at PSV.
And he admits it would be “fantastic” if he were to make a big-money transfer this summer.
He said: “If that would become reality, it would be fantastic. It is a dream to make a transfer with such a big impact.
“But I already said, there is a lot of speculation and a lot of stories, but I don’t know how things will work out, so let’s wait and see.”

The hope is starting to worry me now.
Cue a last minute bid from chelski/spurs with cash upfront, after we spend all summer discussing a payment plan.
