We're not as good a side as the other clubs that are interested in him, we don't play in the champions League, and we pay less in wages.

If you were Depay, would you come to us?

Bayern - would need to compete with Muller, Ribery, Goetze, Lewandoski etc for a role in Pep's front 3.
Manure - would start most games.
Liverpool - would start most games.

So we have a chance - albeit a small one.

If any one of Bayern, Dortmund, United, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Spurs, Barca, Real, Atletico, Inter, or Juve come in for him, we'll be at the bottom of that list.

Unless no one else wants him, and/or we miraculously decide to offer him 200 grand a week, then he's going elsewhere.

If we are as far as negotiating with his management we have a chance.

PSV are talking about hopefully a quick sale though so we are bound to piss them off at that point.

I think there are some young players who will come to us because they'll play.

Bayern - he won't
Dortmund - just lost their manager and will probably be in the same tournament as us next year
United - good chance
Arsenal - will struggle to start week win, week out
City - they need to buy english no?
Chelsea - he won't
Spurs - We're a more attractive proposition still.
Barca - he won't
Madrid - he won't
Athleti - good chance
Inter - no real money in Italian game ... I doubt he's moving there
Juve - he won't

If we're interesting - and I don't know if we are based on the Ross Theory - we have a decent shot ... especially if we're already negotiating with his management team. MAYBE we've finally realized that waiting isn't worthwhile in signing targets?

This trumps CL footy and all the rest of the bollocks.

Yep. This was Man Utd's gamble last summer - outbid clubs on transfer fees and pay higher for wages if necessary. I suspect it's what we'll have to do to sign the 3 - 4 top class players we need this summer.

Reminds me of Robihno, not sure if thats a good thing. Hes got good skill and he can strike a ball but really not convinced. Only thing I can say for certain based on those vids is that the defending in the Dutch league is comically poor. Aly Cissohko would look like Paulo Maldini if he played over there

No way will we sign this guy. He's seemingly got the pick of elite clubs after him.
Half the time I wonder whether it's a ploy by the club to try and convince that we're at that level.

Paul Joyce of the Express is now saying we've jumped to the head of the queue for him, as he was very impressed with the 'vision' we presented to him.

Unless he just wants to play in the Premier League, I would think he would have a hard time turning down PSG. Likely to play and get paid handsomely. Get CL still for the next few years and be able to move onto a better league in a few years.

I'd think going to Bayern to understudy and eventually replace the aging and injury-prone Robben and/or Ribery would seem more likely and logical. Still get paid well, and have greater chances of domestic and European honours, while playing with an entire team of top level players under a very successful manager. Given how often Robben and Ribery break down, he'd have a good chance to get a good number of games.

Paul Joyce usually knows his stuff. Hopefully we'll be able to land one of our big targets this summer

He turned them down in January. He seems to want Premier League although he probably wanted to win the Eredivisie first as well.

Obviously he's not a Liverpool fan then.

Otherwise he'd have seen straight through that 'vision' shite.

Good old Bolo:

Zenden believes that Liverpool are a huge attraction for any player, something which he found out himself when playing for the Anfield club. Zenden's time at Liverpool was hampered by injuries but that hasn't soured his view and he believes they present a unique attraction of being the best supported club in the land. If more stability and specifically Van Gaal are advantages for Manchester United, then Zenden thinks Liverpool's fans present a reason to join that club "It's a very warm club with the most fans in England. But even there you have to watch what your prospects to play are."

If the mancs get him I will probably mention how much of a tit he looked last week with his tattoos and baseball cap after PSV won the Eredivisie.

Pure gangsta knobhead.
