Liverpool vs Newcastle: post-match gripes here

I'll add a more general comment, Coutinho is more like Luis Garcia, very wasteful in possession considering all the good positions he has the ball in, saved by the fact that once in a while a shot isn't wayward.

Nah, Coutinho on an average day is like Luis Garcia.

Coutinho on a good day can be the best player on the pitch and this is whilst playing the likes of Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea (when the latter two were good).

I blame Klopp more than Mignolet.

Mignolet hasn't been good enough but it is up to the manager to drop him.
At that time, there was better movement in front of him, with forwards available for those through balls, inspired by Suarez.
Yup. Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling making runs ahead of him (and Suarez in particular screaming for the ball and bollocking him if he didn't make the pass) made a big difference.

Garcia didn't do too badly against the big sides either. In fact we would never have made it to the final without him.

Yeah, but he has been Luis Garcia now for a while.
It ridiculous how wasteful he is with his final ball.

Yes, I thought as much when I posted it. It might also be that we played more on the counter then, and there was more space to play into.

Still, I think the wastefulness is way too much lately. Really poor decisionmaking.
