WBA deserved nothing from the game. They got lucky. And yet now Allardyce will be hailed as a genius. It's moron time in the zoo.

They limited us to 2 shots on target

It might not be a tactical masterclass, but it doesn't have to be. It's our job to break them down and score and we just couldn't

This lost for me only highlights that we have no real game changes on the bench, excluding Jota
Would like to see us sell Origi Shaqiri and The Ox in the sunner and buy one

Well that was utter wank and totally predictable at the same time. Fuck me what a shit sandwich fat Sam serves up.

I'm fucking seething right now.
That was a rubbish 2nd half from us.
You could just sense that the equalizer was going to come.

Trent and Salah were very poor. Our tactic seemed to be just loopy crosses to the back post and hope for the best.

Jones need to reign his his cockiness. Plenty of occasions where he held on to the ball for too long and was caught out in the end. Pass it and fucking move.

Matip crocked...again!

Fucking shit

Bit of a classic lesson in bus parking by Fat Sam.

So........far fucks to him. He had a plan it worked.

One other point, I think I have more solid gingerbread men in the house than Matip.
Matip was our best player today. Yeah he got injured but we all need to cut him some major slack here. He created our only goal with a pass none of our midfielders managed to pull off today and he left the field with us in the lead.

Too many poor performances in the 2nd half: Trent wasteful, Jones too slow on the ball, Mane kept getting bested by Furlong and Salah got his path blocked every time. Until his injury, Matip was legitimately best player on the pitch and that's saying something. When it's not just 1 or 2, but a whole group of player underperforming, it's clearly psychological – the players found the game too easy in the first half and relaxed too soon. Deservedly punished and a fair result overall.

Taa? poor.
Curtis Jones? wasteful in possession too often.
Salah? Wasteful.

When 3 such important factors in our current team play as they do, and at times stupid selfish play, we won't create as much as we should

I thought Friend was poor - WBA's RB got away with far too much wrestling. Feel their goal was a bit fortunate, one thing to jump using a players shoulders, another putting you hands all over the face.

Tough result, wasted opportunity.

If you have people wanting to fuck Keita off because of his injury record, questions have to be asked of Matip too ...

It's why Gini gets slack ... because he's there all the time.

It works. That's why every scoundrel uses it Because it works. It sometimes works for 60 minutes, sometimes 70, sometimes 80, sometimes the whole game. It's no good pretending that all it needs is us to 'break them down'. It's designed not to be broken down. That means it's difficult. It's not clever - that's why every shite school team has tried it, every shite pub team has tried it, and every plucky underdog FA Cup team has tried it. It's just fucking hard to break down. Cut out all the mock surprise, for god's sake!

I'm cutting Matip some slack because I've barely seen him underperform when he's fit and today he helped us get a goal.
Keita is injured a lot and he underperforms, that's the major difference.

Did they actually have VAR? Because in some games it pops up when someone catches their foot on a wisp of air, and yet in this game they don't triple check all kinds of clashes.

Inept second half. Williams hasn't got enough pace at this level. It's a mystery how that wasn't noticed before by the staff. Just took to long and lacked any creative spark in midfield. Will come up against packed defences so we have to be smarter. Jones has to lay it off quicker in dangerous positions.

Plenty to moan about. That bloated dinosaur Allardyce stealing a point comes top of my whinge list.

He's been good the last 18 months or so ... he under performed plenty before VvD, when healthy.

I honestly don't know - a few are telling me their goal was offside, I didn't see Ajayi as offsides, but he definitely fouled fabinho ...
