Arbeloa makes some good runs, has some very nice touches, but his final ball is invariably sh*t. Johnson will hopefully improved our industry on the right (that's if we bought him with right back in mind). Can't see the logic in not playing Arby on the left and Glen on the right.

Drawing with teams we should be hammering. Sounds familiar. But a bit early to panic yet
Not too fussed about the result really, I just wanted to see a good performance, and that they certainly did not deliver. Players looked poor, rarely springing two passes together. The only players IMO that looked on point were Torres (5 mins playing time), insua and kuyt.
As someone already pointed out, there's defo a right to feel skeptical about our youngsters. Spearing looks very average, nemeth looks like he's struggling to keep up with 1st team, pacheco who I actually rate, is going to need alot more experience before he steps up.
The only youngster from the batch that I feel will step up is Insua, yes he gets caught out sometimes, but he does go forward very well, and he'l learn no doubt.
