At minimum Carra has to go off. If Kenny doesn't take him off at the half I'll be bewildered.

carra needs to come off he is effectively a 5th defender and is dropping way to deep and when he wins the ball he is taking an age to pass.
We just cant crack the code on how to dominate weaker teams...

Rollercoaster first half. Started and ended poorly. Good in the middle, boss header from Agger, he was due a goal.
I'm personally growing increasingly frustrated with the ineffectivity of Maxi and I'd swap him with either Kuyt or Bellers and I'd take Enrique of after what has been another dreadful performance from him. Looks knackered. Get Johnson in on the left and we'll win this.
I really believe we'll win this. Subs will prove vital.

United are playing very well to be fair. I wish we could keep the ball with such assurance

Tactics haven't been shit. We shut them down, and bar that sloppiness from Enrique, they would have danced the ball outside the box while we enjoyed the 1-0 advantage. But relying on counterattack with Downing and Henderson, both very tentative attackers, is just not looking promising. Shelvey and Bellamy on at 60?

He's been the only one trying to make anything happen.
Carra has been anonymous.
Enrique's been making me very nervous. Hope he gets a earful from Kenny/Clarke. Far too nonchalant.
Carroll's been better than usual, but still offers little. Kuyt would be a far far better outlet.
Downing hasn't been bad - done some good work defensively, and run at defenders also. Maxi has been largely anonymous - but he needs quick, technical, and intelligent players around him too play well. It's too disjointed an attacking line-up for him to be effective.

Part of todays approach. Let them role the ball back and fourth and hit them on the counter. Think it has actually worked rather well, apart from the Enrique blunder we've looked solid and by far the most dangerous team.
Perhaps that's why Maxi really isn't working mind. We're not warming the ball at all and he looks lost when things are moving fast around him.
