My favourite thing about Preston is the way they've tried to turn the docks into one of those swanky areas but they already knocked down all the proper old brick buildings so just built some shitty flats that look a bit like they might once have been dock buildings if you squint a bit.

Its not about the numbers you keep counting, its about type plus quality. Right now Endo is our only 100% defensively minded midfielder with experience, but not deemed good enough. For what we are paying him, we can probably take the hit of him being extra. As for Morton and Nyoni - we would use them in cup competions where we dont want to start any of the main squad players. We have always had about 7 main midfielders in our squad even under Klopp:

Milner, Henderson, Fab, Gini, Lallana/Thiago, Ox, Keita, and later on Elliot

I see dead people.

Seriously though, half of them were injured all the time, Elliott was a baby and barely played.

Also Milner cover the RB position for Trent. So everyone got minutes
 
It always makes me nervous when we said it's Zubimendi or noone and then we start scrambling for plan B late in the window.

And at 90m Porto can get to fuck. We can throw in an extra tenner and buy the club.
