Well that explains why you think northern Tayto is edible😉Yeah there’s a Lidl in Larne… but I now have more than enough booze to drink through before I fly home.
Inexplicably… I’ve been drinking Newcastle Brown Ale recently.

Just tell the world your gay why don’t you?
Get over your hazy fear. Be an Irish Viking.
Go to a decent shop. Sainsbury’s do Sierra Nevada. There’s also marks and fucking Spencer. Both shops do decent reds if you want to fork out over £12 a bottle.
You can ignore me after having 6 pints in that queer London and downed 4 beavertown neck oils on the train home. I’m off the on board shop to buy more beer.
The wife won’t be happy.
You’ve wasted all your time there? M&S is the wine venue of the middle class.I just don’t like hazy pale ales / IPAs and NEIPAs - haven’t had a good one in years - I just like a solid west coast style pale ale or IPA but none of this dank shit or overly citrus or piney muck.
Sainsburys means going to Carrick… fuck that (although I drive past it today).
I never even thought of booze in M&S!!!
Newky Brown is fucking shite. I’d rather drink boddingtons.
Do you want a flake with that love?
I remember an old boy who I used to work with that was a serious drinker,Smithwicks makes me think of a Dublin stag do when I’d had enough of Guiness.
If you were to offer a pilsner id take Staropramen.
Brooklyn beer is all watery shite.
Harp from a bottle isn't nearly as bad as its preceding reputation in my limited experienceAlso… something controversial for my fellow Nordies…. Harp lager isn’t as disgusting as I remember and having a few Smithwicks and Bass brings back memories from 35 years ago.

Is Larne in 1723?Yeah… next time - M&S presents a different challenge - Larne isn’t posh enough to have an M&S - so it’s Glengormly, Antrim or Ballymena for one of those… or Belfast.
I feel like there might be a decent market for quality wine bought online and delivered in Norn Iron - but there probably isn’t - because people will just buy cheap shit from the supermarket.
It’s different in Australia - big Supermarkets aren’t allowed to sell booze - so there’s no aisles filled full of booze - there’s usually an attached store that sells the booze.
@MomoWASright - you’d love the company I work for - they’re like mid-sized supermarkets filled just with booze - there’s sheer volume of wine and beer.

You can take the boy out of Larne.............................................I was drinking it from a can. 😬
Heathen.I was drinking it from a can. 😬
Heathen.
Stop trying to sound poshWell… to be totally accurate… I was pouring it from a can into a glass.
Stop trying to sound posh
I have 3 glasses. A glass tanker etched with me and the boys, an Azvex 500ml heavy bottom and wide top then my favourite Liverpool brewing company one which has a chip in. Maybe I need to butter up Woland for a new one.I also like to chill the glasses in the freezer sometimes…
… and I told the missus off for pouring Coca Cola into one of my beer glasses the other week!!! - there are specific glasses for that.
I also have specific whiskey and gin glasses!!!
Glassware is a thing for me!!!

Disneyland for alcoholics is how I like to explain Dan Murphys, Liqourland, First Choice etc to foreigners 😀
I don't drink beer but those pretty aisles could tempt me. Cough.Yeah… next time - M&S presents a different challenge - Larne isn’t posh enough to have an M&S - so it’s Glengormly, Antrim or Ballymena for one of those… or Belfast.

Damn. I read that as liquorice-land and my first thought was 'I'm moving there! It really is… well Liquorland & First Choice isn’t 🤣🤣.
I think you get it in the US - but I’ve not seen booze sold at the scale the likes of Dan Murphys stores do anywhere in the UK.
Even before I worked for them, I used to love going to their stores and checking out the different wines and beers - it was instrumental in my desire to learn more about, particularly wine.
