Liverpool related transfer speculation

Huijsen doesn't arrive without VVD leaving, IMO, so it would be bitter sweet. He'll have offers on the table that beat him taking up Joe Gomez's role in the short term. But he looks a very good CB at a reasonable price. It would be a huge step up for him, though, not just joining Liverpool, playing in the CL, etc, but stepping into Virgil shoes is a hell of an ask.

If both him and Kerkez join then we'll benefit from their experience together this season.

Could Huijsen replace Konate if the PSG interest is true and he’s not signing a new contract?

If Trent is also off then Konate would be a valid shout for captain/vice captain and provide some leadership across a new backline, providing this fucker isn't also leaving in a year, too.
I don't see that as necessarily true. There are some major benefits to moving here regardless, especially bearing in mind he's only 19 years old now : playing with and learning from Virgil, playing in the CL, an early chance at trophies at one of the best clubs in the world, increased salary.

I would like to see Zubi go to Madrid over Arsenal for sure. Can't risk them sorting out that squad!

Have to say that after watching him against Utd I got the feeling that we dodged a bullet in all honesty. He was so slow and not very mobile. I'm probably wrong but felt okay about missing out.

He's one of those players that thrives on the continent, but would possible struggle to adapt to the league.

Zubi - rice - odegaard is a very technical midfield, but not very athletic. It's the one thing The Accused offered the in midfield; a bit of steel. They're also still trying to keep jorginho for reasons unclear to most.

Can see them getting bullied again.

Fichajes absolutely trolling us with this 250m warchest that's going to somehow land him, Simons and Alvarez.

The Spanish footballer insider equivalant, full of horse dung.
We are not about that. What we do really well, and no one seems to be on our level, is we, "monitor", "observe" and "show interest" in.
So we might not sign anybody but you can bet your bottom dollar we have done everything else (bar make a bid)

Waitrose??? I thought you were a man of the people?
Saying that we don't have them in Norn Irn so I'm just guessing that they're the posh one from the newspaper ads I've seen.
That’s why I pissed on them

I ended up in M&S at Euston.

Fuck. Shit. The mask has slipped.

I found some Northern Monk in an ASDA on the shore road in Belfast.

Didn’t buy any… cause they were all fucking hazy IPAs, but. I bought some Beaverton American Pale Ale which will have to do since I can’t find any Sierra Nevada anywhere.

I also found a nice Adelaide Hills Shiraz and a decent selection of Whitewater Brewery beers at a Tesco’s in Glengormly.

I feel like bloody Indiana Jones searching for fucking treasure in remote and dangerous places…

… particularly the shore road ASDA… Larne isn’t feeling so bad after all…

If you are near a Lidl and the beer selection is the same as down south then their own brand American Pale Ale is decent

Just tell the world your gay why don’t you?

Get over your hazy fear. Be an Irish Viking.

Go to a decent shop. Sainsbury’s do Sierra Nevada. There’s also marks and fucking Spencer. Both shops do decent reds if you want to fork out over £12 a bottle.

You can ignore me after having 6 pints in that queer London and downed 4 beavertown neck oils on the train home. I’m off the on board shop to buy more beer.

The wife won’t be happy.

Yeah there’s a Lidl in Larne… but I now have more than enough booze to drink through before I fly home.

Inexplicably… I’ve been drinking Newcastle Brown Ale recently.
