In this case - I don't think he is injured - I don't buy into this match fitness business, there is something else at play - maybe its because we have too many attackers and just refuse to select him for the starting lineup. Maybe the donkey offers something that Chiesa just does not - and also the emergence of Gakpo as more reliable winger with Diaz doing well as the No. 9 - maybe Slot is content with the variation of Jota and Darwin as backups and there is no need for Chiesa.
