I do agree about the space argument though. Glen can find that space as he's running from deeper positions into it.

Brilliant win.

By placing 70M worth of talent on the bench we picked the team we all wanted. Make no mistake, that took Kenny some bottle to do, especially against Chelsea away. That took balls and it paid off. Our first half performance was brilliant; they may have created a few chances, but we dictated play. Off the ball we were tireless, hunting them down at every opportunity and right from the front. When I see that I'm proud to be a Liverpool fan.

The second half we didn't really show up, IMO. I'm not sure what was said at half time, but they came out firing and we seemed content to let them do what they wanted. One moment of class from Johnson, who had been poor up until that point, changed everything.


"Liability" Skrtel was fantastic and my MOM.

Alright gents, I'm late to the thread and haven't had a chance to read the board but I have to ask wtf are Chelsea thinking with David Luiz?? Seriously what does AVB see in him? He is not a good center half and he thinks he is a forward!

His positioning is always off and he is caught out all the time trying to set a high line for the offsides trap letting players get behind him.

What an absolute twat, as soon as I saw his name on the team sheet I knew we were going to win.
