Hmmm, hmmmm, hmmmm.

I'd start:

Mig
Clyne
Lovren(if fit)
Sakho
Moreno
Hendo
Coutinho
Ibe

That's 8 and I don't have a bloody clue who the other 3 should be and where they should play.

From the utter SHIT we have - this is the lineup:-

Gary - I would add in there:-

Lucas
Milner (if fit) - otherwise Can (what choice do we really have ?)
Origi

Feel a home defeat coming here....

Combine our brittle confidence with that of vardy and marehez

They'll hit us on the break all day long if we do our usual thing. Keep it tight and play Benteke and ping crosses in all day long. We need a plan b for this squad, so just try this. Hendo can cross a ball and then some.
How tall is Origi? If he's good in the air, throw him in there too.

Let them have the ball and play them at their own game.

Bogdan
Clyne
Sahko
Lovren
Moreno
Lucas
Milner
Can
Coutinho
Firmino
Benteke

We don't have the players to play the at their own game.
Kante will own Lucas in midfield, Mahrez is twice as good as Firmino, and that's being kind. And while Benteke does have his qualities, playing quick, counter-attacking football that relies on blistering pace and movement, which Vardy can offer, isn't really Benteke's game

Lucas and Firmino simply do not merit a place in the team, they're total shite. Admittedly after Sakho's abysmal display, he doesn't either, but given our on,y other option is Comedy Kolo, we have no choice

Wont happen, but:

Ming
Clyne Lovren Sakho Moreno
Can Henderson Milner
Coutinho Origi
Benteke

I think if I were Klopp I'd concentrate on application and concentration during the week and then pick from those available.

Before that though I'd use my celebrity to bed the fittest women.

I just read that Kolo is back in the Ivory Coast visiting an orphanage ! WTF. So I guess he isn't in the running for even the bench then. Though TBF it's only around a 6 hr flight from memory and no time zones to cross.

If ever there was a game for Lucas it's this and Sakho is getting some amount of stick. He was superb until his injury and it was first game back against two beasty strikers.

I actually thought that apart from the 2 slips - Sakho had an ok game against Watford. He moved forward, and was having physical battles with their defenders, there was also a nice bit of skill from him where he spun to get away from the attacker and passed the ball successfully. It did appear that he was targeted specifically by them. Guy looks very strong.

I notice that nobody has selected Lucas thus far - my God if ever a group of fans hated a player this site must rank very high. I personally think the attackers in our team are much to blame - both Benteke, and Firminio were NON-EXISTENT yet some people still want to persist with him. People argue that the main midfield of Can, Lucas, and Hendo did not do enough for our attackers - but all our starting attack players are themselves midfielders anyway - they hardly beat a man against Watford, which is what these guys are supposed to provide in breaking down that final third in front of them.

So I hope I the right thread this time, ahem, here we go,
We'll hump these fly-by-night uppity mother fucker blow-ins 7-0!!!!!

chop chop chop chop chop chop, ssnnoooooooorrttttt!!

Merry Christmas SCM, whoop that turkeys ass!!!
See ye on Boxing Day.

They need to be attacked from the start. Really intense pressing, never let them settle, shake them up. If they're allowed to settle then they'll dominate. They're a decent team but so far they've been allowed to do pretty much what they want. Start like they usually start and they might lose their cohesion. The worry is we don't seem to have the energy.

This is going to be a disaster. I'm going to arrange things so I can't watch or be near a radio

We should with nearly a weeks rest.
No excuses for not coming flying out at the start.

So.. How are we all feeling about this?

I've put my money where my mouth is and back us to win with both teams scoring.

I really don't know what to expect. People like Coutinho and Can need to step up and show their worth again, anything less than a mammoth effort should see the crowd rightfully venting.

I'm surprised anyone would attempt to forecast the result of any game involving Liverpool.

We make a Jekyll and Hyde team look consistent.

It's difficult to call though, their biggest strength is their counter attack and the ability to rip a team open with a couple of passes. That's the kind of set up we've struggled with. We can press high all we like, once teams get in our half, we still have that ridiculous tendency to cave in.
