Leading us to the promised land?

Could be a good signing. Not sure if he improves the first team though.
Maybe we'll sign two players and let Ibe go out on loan. Rodgers said he'd consider that.
Assaidi is also close to a move to Stoke acc Twitter. He was at the Britannia yesterday appaz.

I called this the other day.. kinda knew this was gonna happen... Will we sign another forwarder too ?

I personally think moses is quality & will add a lot to the side.

If we get him I think we'll all be hoping we get him permanently.

If you can bring yourself to look past the fact that

a) he's a loan
b) he's not costing us $30M
c) he's not some fancy foreign name
d) he used to play for Wigan

Then you'll see he's a decent footballer. He scored 10 goals for Chelsea last season, most of them as a sub, all of them from the wing. He's got good feet, he's strong, reasonably quick, quite obviously can make an impact, is 22, and won't need 12 months to adapt.

I'd take him for sure.

Sterling and Moses cut from the same cloth, Moses is not a significant improvement. we need finess, pace, skill and vision on the wing.

All well and good but Sterling isn't even a first team starter. We've gone from targeting players who'd greatly improve our first team to loan deals for players who aren't that much of an improvement on our reserves.

What are you smoking? Moses scores goals consistently and has great strength, Sterling has neither of those qualities yet. Moses currently is twice the player Sterling is if not 3 times.
This would be a superb signing and much like Toure will instantly improve our team.

1 - He is an improvement on our reserves
2 - We're not signing world class players obviously, so what should we do, give up?

We had zero width in the team on Saturday from midfield. This will be a superb addition as a loan. Another Chelsea reject with bags of potential and a point to prove!

Moses is a decent player but I don't think people would have been this enthusiastic if we'd targeted him at the start of the transfer window.

So who is he going to replace?
Aspas from the 1st to games but its a long season and we will rotate. He's not a world beater but Christ given our time frames and the amount of players we have missed out on this would be a superb signing in my eyes.
He's always looked good in the Chelsea side whenever he's been given game time.
Plus he's still very young. Zero gamble with huge potential to kick on

Agreed but its all relative so right now he would be right up there on my list. Plus the last Chelsea reject with a point to prove is working out quiet well no?

I would be very happy if we could get Moses on a permanent deal, he's been very productive in limited and sporadic starts for Chelsea, and has the pace and power to be extremely good. Very underrated player.

Would be a very Sturridge-esque signing, if not a better one.

Meh, I'm just pissed off we've now sunk to Moses when our transfer budget is in profit. I'm sure he would be an improvement on Aspas but it's hard to swallow.
