No surprises there.
The job has got Sean Dyche written all over it. He's been an Everton manager in waiting for years.
He outlasted Stevie Gee, the wolves manager and probably couple of othersSurprise of the century... I knew it before the season even started.
I saw that coming tooHe outlasted Stevie Gee, the wolves manager and probably couple of others
Difficulty level 2Rangers never happened then?
I think Neville has a close to that win rate in La Liga. He won some matches in the Copa del Rey that actually flatters his numbers so that he doesnt look as bad as he was..
Edit: Neville won 18,75 % of his La Liga games..
I wouldn't call Gerrard a motivator. Far from it. He's certainly led by example and inspired his team mates at times as a player, but in general I think his personality is as divisive as it is motivating. It's based on ego and hutzpah, which may motivate some, but it will alienate others. In fact, I think it could be his undoing as a manager.I think Gerrard can be a good national team manager – usually you don't need much more than motivation skills for that job and he has those. My cautious prediction is that he will be a success with Poland, if he gets the job.

Let's remember his managerial career highlight. Gone too early (hopefully not too early to sink Everton):
