Liverpool's deal for Yevhen Konoplyanka is reportedly on the brink of collapse after his agent said a deal is unlikely
Liverpool's transfer for Yehven Konoplyanka is reportedly on the brink of collapse.
The agent for the Ukrainian winger has told reporters, a 'deal is very unlikely' as the Reds hoped to tie up a deal in the region of £16m.

Yehven Konoplyanka's agent said: "Deal very unlikely. We have a very good relationship with the president Kolomoyskyi. He doesn't want to sell.
"Yehven and his father respect that. It's very unlikely."
Anfield chiefs have been out in Ukraine discussing a move with the 24-year-old but
Rodgers indicated the move is not an easy one.
Rodgers said: "There is obviously an interest in the player.
"We will see how the day evolves, the staff who are over there having given us a brilliant chance of getting the player but it is complicated. We will see how it develops.
"It would not just be for now but in the future. We are growing the group. I am happy with the group I have. If it doesn't work out then we have shown over course of the season we can fight. It is the only deal we are trying."
Meanwhile, further reports have
linked Liverpool with a move for Manchester City's Micah Richards, however, the Reds boss was quick to rule out a move.
Rodgers is also lining up a potential bid for for Malaga midfielder Francisco Portillo.
The Reds boss is lining up a €16million (£13.2m) bid for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder,
according to reports in Spain .
However, a more likely player to join Liverpool is French defensive midfielder Yann M’Vila, who currently plays at Rubin Kazan.
Finally, Liverpool have rejected Valencia's latest bid to sign Iago Aspas on loan, according to sources in Spain.
