comolli threw money around to get deals done , now we're a club who haggles hard and long to the point of missing out on a few players . I guess somewhere in the middle would be ideal if possible .

Beecroft was saying otherwise a few minutes ago. According to him the delay is down to Dnipro's owner, who didn't want to sell in the first place and is now digging his heels in.

Personally, I think agents fees (arguably shouldn't exist at all, but that's another debate) should be paid centrally, the transfer fee goes through a uefa or Fifa escrow, which checks the official agent listed for the player & pays them then the selling club.
Fuck, why uefa haven't insisted on it & introduced a 1% escrow fee is beyond me, not like them to miss a trick in making cash.
We're shit at transfers. Simple.
