Just had live updates on SSN and there saying right down to the wire for this one..
BR coming up at 2 o'clock with his pre WBA interview, maybe he can tell us more.
 
i'd love to be a fly on the wall for one of these deadline day deals . I suspect it's alot of sitting around and not half as professional an operation as you'd imagine.
 
The Mirror is saying the only sticking point is the payment structure.
I'm guessing the Dnipro owner want everything paid in one installment or something?
 
It really does seem that SKY have some leverage on these deals in January.... Why are they always at the last minute? Because it makes good TV....

I bet SKY pays clubs a little bonus if they make signings on deadline day.....
 
I'd imagine BR will confirm or deny if we're going to sign him in the presser at 2pm. Surely we'd have to know if it's happening before the window closes by then?
 
The Ukrainians probably want paid in vodka, natural gas and mail order brides.
 
We must be very confident he'll be a success to tie him to such a long contract? I presume there will be clauses involved which will see his wages improved based on achievements/appearances.

The last time I was really hoping we'd sign the player but was certain he wouldn't was with Sahin. Except he signed, and then went on to fail.

Doesn't bode well.
