You are the weakest link.....

The sooner agger gets back to full fitness the better...

Please note this is not a Knee Jerk reaction... granted it should not of really been a penalty... But this season.. he has been woeful and that mistake early on showed it...

Think his knees have finally gone...

The weakest link?

Come on, let's not overreact here.

Keni he has been woeful.. lost count the amount of mistakes he has done over the last few games.. I hope he turns it round though, being the legend he is..

He needs dropping. Hes just not right at the minute.
In an ideal world, we'd give him a rest, but right now, who are we going to bring in?

Agger is still a way off by the sounds of things and Zorba looked a bag of nerves on his debut.

Regarding Zorba I think we need him to play he's strong in the air and we'd be a lot better at defending set pieces with him on the pitch.

Prick.

On toast.

YUCK!! :-X 😛

Carra's usually solid defensively. It's his hoofing I can't stand. I think today was an off-day and we shouldn't overreact. Sure, he hasn't been playing as well as he's done in the past, but then I'd say the same about Nando before today's game.

He's been well below his best thus far this season but as has been mentioned we can't really feel comfortable dropping him until Agger is fit. Surely he'll get a rest this week and Rafa will play the Greek and Skrtel against Leeds.

Without joining this bandwagon, it is an interesting stat that the player currently playing in the Prem that has scored most goals against Liverpool is Carra with seven. Or so I heard the other day.

Ha, is that so?

It looks bad.

Carra's looking a yard of the pace & normally his mental sharpness compensates, but it's just not there at the minute. Add in to that his jumping has diminished & his aerial threat has gone too. The two things combined have left him way short of the standards we normally expect.

Add in another factor, that Agger & Skittles arent an aerial threat either & we have a problem, one that Zorba was brought in to help address, thought it's kinda like sticking a plaster on a missing forearm.

I dont know what the answer is, but Carra shouldnt be playing against anyone with either decent pace or a good aerial threat at the minute. Hopefully a rest may see that mental sharpness return, though long term our lack of defensive heading ability will cost us, as our set piece defending is testament at present.

Mark, he gifted the Hines a golden opportunity in the first minute. He clattered Sktel AGAIN within ten minutes.

He's had a bloody awful start to the season - shit happens. He's been brilliant for nearly four years, he's due a bad spell.

I know he's yor mate but you'd have to be blind not to recognise he's having problems.

I dont understand all this superfan bollocks.
He isnt playing well. Thats a fact. He looks jaded and we should give him a rest.

Mark most of us arent having a go at him, simply saying he's not on form mate. Like I sai, he's never been teh fastest but it's not mattered, cos he's not on form his 'first yard's all in your head' mental ability isnt compensating for that so he's exposed.

It's not his fault, but that combined with us having no CB with experience to help alongside him makes us weak at the back.

About time people started realising this.
i said it a while ago and ill say it again! CARRAGHER IS PAST HIS BEST!! AGGER/SKRTEL should be the new partnership... when they are both fit

Agger is pretty good at defending and attacking set pieces....no? He wins the ball that comes in his area most of the time.

to be honest I don't think dropping carra is ever a good idea because he brings more to the table then just flinging his body in front of the ball, he organises the defense for one.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA,Fuckin Skertel,Tell me your joking? Right?

I was more worried by Skrtel. He really must eradicate those stupid lunges. I'm amazed he hasn't been in more trouble.

The worry with Skrtel is he doesn't seem to be getting any better. He showed promise when he came, yet he is still not dominant enough. Obviously he has plenty of time, but he should start showing it.
