Haha. All joking aside, this is a sad state of affairs guys. Not a fucking chance is Darren Bent Liverpool class.
I've grew up watching Rush, Fowler, Owen(sorry had to put him) in, Torres - quality, classy strikers that could score a goal out of nothing and make you proud to be a Red. Darren Bent will never, ever be able to do that.
He's the most average of players. Has he a good touch? No, Has he got a trick? No. can he score a goal out of nothing? No. Would he be capable of fitting into our pass and move philosophy? No.
I appreciate we need a goalscorer, and Bent is one but for fuck sake we have Comolli and a scouting team that should be capable of finding a gem or two somewhere. Instead of spending a crazy amount of money on yet another overpriced, overhyped Englishman.
If he joins us, i'll support him as i do with every Liverpool player but i wouldn't be at all happy about it.
