It's no secret that BR wanted to strengthen our attack, esp midfield. We haven't. However, can Ibe come in and provide some real competition to the likes of sterling, coutinho and moses?

He had a great pre-season but hasn't had much of a sniff since. I don't know how he has been doing in the reserves, but would be interested to know whether he can provide a little bit of the competitive attack that BR was so desperate to bring.

He's got no chance of making any kind of impact this season.

He needed to go out on loan really with Moses, Sterling and Aspas blocking his path into the first team.

I still don't know why they fancy Ibe so much on the right, because (as a strong two-footer) he's just as good on the left, and when he's on the bench and Sterling's doing well you'd think they would consider bringing him on to play on the left.

I would have brought him on today to provide some width. If we aren't going to play him and we aren't going to loan him out i'm not sure what the plan is

I get the impression if we'd landed one of our targets in January, Ibe would have been loaned out.

Unfortunately he's needed to fill the bench at the moment.

I expected big things from Ibe this year. Whatever the reason, I'm slightly disappointed by his lack of mintues for us this year because I think he's equally as talented as Sterling and can definitely make an impact upon matches.

It doesn't help the ressies are playing so few games. I just hope we do well enough in a few games for him to be sent on for 15 mins here and there.
