I am very optimistic on behalf of Suso and Sterling, but I have never likened them too a young Gerrard in terms of talent. Or John Barnes for that matter.

It's always pretty dangerous to make these comparisons, but here we are, early days with Ibe, yet I have no qualms over tipping this lad for great things.

I am just glad he's a Liverpool-player.

While I think both Sterling and Ibe will be fantastic players for us - in time - the latter would find transitioning into the first team a whole lot easier because he's more built.
