done deal

The deal with Celta Vigo is now complete and the 25-year-old has penned a long-term contract after passing a medical at Melwood.
Aspas scored 12 goals and claimed seven assists during 34 appearances for relegation-threatened Celta last term.
The Spanish star can play through the middle or out wide and represents the club's third piece of business this summer following the deal in principle for Man City defender Kolo Toure and the signing this weekend of Luis Alberto from Sevilla.

Yesssss! Welcome Iago, I hope you have the times of your life here!
And thank you espeicially Mr. Photographer for the huge effort you put into finding that gorgeous backdrop for the confirmation picture, beautiful! (I can't afford the Sarcmark)

It's a bit like an army barracks or something.

Because he's shown such little respect to the club and it's fans with his antics in Brazil. He's being a bit of a dick.

Anyone with him as their avatar clearly has little self respect

it's a bit of a bold statement to say that having an avatar of liverpool's best player and one of the few world class strikers around means you have little self respect. i would suggest that having his avatar represents whats best about our fans - our players, who give it all on the pitch, will not walk alone.

I'd disagree. It shows you're happy to cling to a player who doesn't want to be here and is showing little respect to the club or its fans.

we'll have to disagree, but I will always show respect for a player who gives total commitment on the pitch (and delivers), that's probably the best way to judge respect to the club.

If he stays and performs as well, then we'll see. But I think he's gone and he won't give a fuck.

Shame you struggle to show the same levels of faith, patience and appreciation for anyone else involved with the club, given you can barely ever wait to put the boot in for us not doing something yesterday.

Your "respect" point is selective a touch.

as a fan I am entitled to moments to joy, anger, irrationality towards my club. it's all part of the roller coast ride of being a football fan, our attributes tend to be our fickleness and short term memory, its part of the letting off steam from the daily grind. HOWEVER, i have never booed an lfc player when they play for us. NEVER. I have the RIGHT to criticise the club and players for performances, but booing them is what we've seen chelsea fans to towards their players AND manager.

as for putting the boot it, it's difficult to see how a questioning post, in the heat of the minute, about what ifs can be considered to be putting the boot it. is that your threshold?

Again just a reminder - Gerrard was on the verge of leaving twice.
I don't think any of us cares about that now. He stayed for many more years and we're all happy about it.
Suarez is not gone yet. Many of the stories about him are lazy journalism. Let's give him the benefit of doubt and see where things go before hanging him on a tree of shame.

What doubt is there ?

There is no doubt.

We all figured it was a very real possibility (that he'd want to leave) so it's hardly a surprise to find out that he actually does.
