How good is Minamino gonna be?

My thoughts were that Klopp is trying to create another Shinji. His style of play is very Shinji-esk

Would anyone who has watched more than 90 minutes of football ever compare Minamino to Son if they weren't both Asian? I'd say no but I'm usually wrong about these things but it's also a very 2020 thing to say, so here you go!

I said I wasn't being lazy and I wasn't comparing their styles. I think he might have a similar impact on Liverpool as what Son has had at Spurs - goal and creative threat, not always a starter at first but will gradually get there, similar runs from deep and occupying similar areas of the pitch - dropping into pockets of space and not always easy to pick up for defenders. Son is quicker and more direct, but does like to ghost in from deeper attacking areas like Minamino also does.

I did say in the second post that I wasn't comparing their style. I don't know why it's that difficult to understand. I think they are both fairly unorthodox, when you compare them to the styles of other Spurs and Liverpool attackers, so in that respect he might have a similar impact on us.
