Since getting married and having kids, the wife and I have started hosting and going to more and more dinner parties. Its a combination of having the kids and how much it costs to go for a few bevvies in Dublin these days. Most of our friends are in similar situation to us so this is what we do now.
I know good food and quality wine is always nice but what else would you consider essential? What are good starters/mains/deserts to serve? What music is good? What games/entertainment works well?
