Wales have sunk below the Faroe Islands in the world rankings after a Faroese student pointed out a mistake in Fifa's calculations.

Sneijder's been nailed on for the Mancs for some time. I wish they'd just get on and do the deed so I can stop hoping it won't happen. Other than that, there's so much silly season guesswork in that pile of garbage, it's unreal.

"Wales have sunk below the Faeroes" - hahaha.

Apparently he says he doesn't want to leave Italy, but then he didn't want to leave Spain in the first place when he got sold to Inter.

Ranking system is obviously flawed

I can't see it happening, not with his wages as they are.

Rooney would obviously demand parity, as would some of their other players.
Sneijder is exactly what the Mancs need. That would be quite depressing.
They cant afford him.
35m plus 220k wages. Naaah.
I think Nasri or Modric are far more likely.

I can't believe Scott Parker could possibly consider moving back to the team that ruined his career, just as a stop-gap for Essien until he gets fit or they bring in another stellar signing. If he had not gone to Chelsea he would have had the recognition he is getting now three years sooner.

regards

I wonder how much city would want for Adebayor? I guess he´ll end up in Italy or Spain anyhow.

What was it citys reserves was called again? The Super reserves or something? It´s nice to see some anger in that squad. Who´s next after Adebayor and Bellamy?

Valencia have told Arsenal and Tottenham that playmaker Juan Mata is not for sale.

with liverpool interested in Mata and made an offer(yes?no?), could this mean the 18.5m bid on downing is actually for mata? ;D and the initially rejected 15m bid for downing is not rejected afterall? hmm....

Haha, got to love the English media. Fergie told Utd official site yesterday thst Sneijder was a no go, and Sneijder himself said he didnt want to leave Milano.

If a move is going to happen, the bid must be insane, maybe including Nani and Inter would have to tell Sneijder that they want rid.

The most likely is Nasri. But he wants a payday aswell. Modric has his little heart set on Chelski.

Well, only since its the same as Sneijder said himself. Dont know why people bang on about him as perfect for utd either. He's not a central midfielder at all. To accomodate him they would have to change their set up. Modric on the other hand would be perfect.

It really pisses me off that spurs are linked with mata and diarra. I really hate that scummy wanna-be club.

Haha, it really does!

Just checking if I have my totally rose-colored, homer glasses on, but I was talking with a Scum fan about their proposed Sneijder deal, and an argument erupted when he said that Sneijder is better than any of our midfield players. I replied with "Yes... everyone except Steven Gerrard, obviously." Is this even an argument? Yeah our captain has had injury problems, and Sneijder's star is on the rise, and maybe I'm overrating his past seasons and legacy, but Gerrard is a world-beater and will be remembered long after he's gone, I just don't put Sneijder in the same class as him. Am I wrong?

For the record, I am happy with the Downing signing but if Villa replaces him with Vargas then I am going to go, "WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!".
