In the lines of why should we buy them if no one of the top 4 are interested etc etc.

But Lucas over Barton, any day of the week. Lucas has turned into a very good player, but seems as though he has a harder time of convincing our fans than the opposition about his abilities.

In my experience that's not true at all. Not one single supporter of another team with whom I've discussed Lucas has *ever* envied us having him - quite the opposite in fact.

Maybe not until last season, but a lot of my Arsenal and Utd supporting mates think he has developed into a very good player. And that he gets a lot more stick than he should.
